Have an extra pair of running shoes that never quite fit right? Did your kids outgrow their last pair of shoes before they wore out? Don’t throw them away – bring them to the race. We will have collection bins for “Shoes for Haiti.” Bring your lightly worn adult athletic shoes, or any style of children’s shoes to the race. An eighth grader at Markham Place School is helping to collect the shoes as a service project. The student is working with Shore Runner, one of the sponsors of the Little Silver Classic, to get the shoes shipped to the needy in Haiti.
