Our USATF certified course is known for being fast so the cooler fall weather will definitely help those of you looking to run a personal best! We thank you for your support of the race and wish you a great race. Please read over the following so you have all the needed information for picking up your race numbers and being prepared for race morning.

- 7:30-9:15 AM in person registration/packet pick up Red Bank Regional High School Lobby
- 8:45 AM Kids’ One Mile Fun Run (start and finish on Red Bank Regional High School track)
- 9:30 AM 5K START
- 10:30 AM (approx.) Kiddie Dashes (PreK-4th grade) following conclusion of 5K
- 10:45 (approximate) Awards at the finish line
- 11am: Post-race party begins at Little Silver Fire House

PARKING/ROAD CLOSURES
There is a good amount of parking available at Red Bank Regional High School. However, please be mindful that roads leading to the school will close by 9:15 am. Neighborhood roads across from the High School that have street parking are Oxford Avenue, Cambridge Avenue, and Rutgers Drive. In addition, Fair Haven Fields Park and Meadowridge Park (located off Ridge Road) have parking lots and are less than a ½ mile from the school. Please do not park in any church parking lots on race day. We request that you respect the residential homes and park facilities.
Bathrooms are located inside the High School. In addition, there will be port-o-johns located by the track. All roads along the course will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 9:15 AM. Please make sure to arrive to Red Bank Regional prior to 9:15 AM or you will not be granted access to the RBRHS parking lot. Roads will open after the last runner passes the area.
JOG STROLLERS/PETS
Pets are not permitted in the race. If you plan to run with a jog stroller, we ask that you line up toward the back of the starting area. Please be mindful of the runners around you giving plenty of room as not to cause any safety concerns.
WALKERS
We welcome all walkers to participate in the race. Please line up toward the back of the start area and allow runners to line up ahead of you. All roads will be temporarily closed during the race. A police officer will notify you if the roads are open to traffic while you are still on the course. If this occurs, please utilize sidewalks when possible or stay to the left side of the road while on the course.
WATER STOPS
There will be two water stops along the course.
5K START & FINISH AREA
Please make your way to the start line by 9:15 AM. The start line is on Ridge Road between Hance Avenue and the parking lot entrance to Red Bank Regional High School. Please line up according to your race pace. For safety reasons, please line up according to your pace. This year we are a USATF Open Women’s Championship race and will have several runners capable of running under a 6:00 minute pace. Walkers and those with jog strollers should line up toward the back of the race. Parents of children running the 5k, we ask that you line your child up accordingly as explained above.
Runners will finish on the Red Bank Regional Track. Water will be provided for all finishers. The race directors are very excited to share that Coffee Corral will be giving out free samples.

ONE-MILE FUN RUN
This is a fun run for kids that starts and finishes on the Red Bank Regional High School track. The children will be led out of the track area, behind the school to a turn around point and then led back to the track for the finish. This race is timed but results are not recorded. Parents are permitted to run with their children. All children will receive a medal. Awards are not given out for this fun run.
KIDDIE DASHES
The dashes will take place on the infield of the Red Bank Regional High School track. Parents can line up with their children according to age. Dashes begin as young as 2 years old. Parents are not permitted to run with their children due to safety concerns. All children will receive a medal.
AWARDS
The awards ceremony will take place after the conclusion of the 5K. Approximate time is 10:45 AM. If you are unable to hang around, please contact the race director if you are an award winner.
POST RACE PARTY
The LS5k Post Race will be from 11am-4pm at the Little Silver Firehouse. We are planning a great party for both children and adults!
We have lots of fun children's activities, live music by RipTide, and amazing food by Molinari's!
